The autonomous R-Matic reach truck is adept at transporting, storing, and retrieving goods weighing up to 1.6 tonnes at heights exceeding 11 meters. This versatility makes it particularly well-suited for tasks involving medium to high lift heights, including supplying workstations and material transportation within warehouses.
Equipped with an innovative 3D camera, the R-Matic accurately identifies storage locations within racks and the pallet openings, allowing it to precisely store and retrieve loads by adjusting its forks accordingly.
Notably, the truck's geonavigation system functions independently, eliminating the need for additional infrastructure, and it safely and efficiently interacts with individuals, non-automated trucks, conveyor belts, and packing stations.
For added flexibility, the R-MATIC can also be manually controlled through the Dual Mode, catering to diverse operational needs.
- Truck detects its surroundings using sensors. If the 2D curtain laser system identifies an obstacle, the truck reduces its speed and, if necessary, stops.
- Uses an innovative 3D camera and a laser to detect pallet openings and loads, and to store and retrieve them precisely at high lift heights.
